Introduction to the basics of Telecommunications Law for non-lawyers.The course deals with the legal regulations and principles that apply to telecom network operators and telecom service providers (fixed-line and mobile phone).

Public law defines the functioning of the state and the relationship between citizens and the state. It includes the state organisation law, fundamental rights, administrative law and public procedural law.The introduction provides a general overview over public law, its sources, its principles and legal methods.

Introduction to Torts, Contracts and Insurance Law.

The course will provide a comprehensive overview of the Swiss legal system and examine, in some detail, the most important legal relations between individuals (in particular business associations).

Supplemental exercises to the course "Fundamental concepts of Swiss Law". Students will apply the legal principles taught in the course "Fundamental concepts of Swiss Law" to practical problems (contractual and tortuous liability).
