In Spring 2020, Don18 will look back at the digital aesthetics and artistic collaborations from the 1990s, and trace its influences in today's digital world. On the example of artistic and architectural works Don18 will examine how the contemporary flood of pictures and information has affected the approach towards political, social, economic, and bodily needs.

This seminar will explore contemporary architecture through the lens of its ever expanding field, taking as a starting point the view that we "both do and do not know" what architecture is. Together we will discuss texts, visit workspaces and have conversations with practitioners who work at the interfaces of architecture, art and other disciplines.
