The entire study is three-parted: 1) theory 2) peer-teaching 3) teaching in practice. Environmental specialists need to know how to disseminate environmental knowledge. There is a wide field of possible addressees. How do you work with them appropriately? In the theory (part 1) the students learn about ways of knowledge transfer and build up a personal toolbox of Didactics and Methodology.

Environmental Education Didactics supplies the basic concepts for the application of the contents of the lecture Human Learning (EW 1) in environmental education.On the basis of selected environmental topics didactical theories are used practice-oriented, whereas the appliance of different teaching methods is pointed out. In addition a didactical topic is exercised exemplary in an assignment.

The students give 2 examination lessons.

Practice in sports teaching into special didactics with planning, execution and evaluation of the topics from all sport-specific areas of the education at this level in Section II.

The mentored paper is designed to bring together the findings from the 701-0823-00L Environmental Education Didactics I Information and the 701-0825-10L Environmental Education Didactics II. By using various teaching techniques and methods a semester plan, which is based on various curricula will be ellaborated for a given topic.

This course takes place outside the Federal Institute of Technology. The classrooms of a college will be available and we will train the teaching. The colleagues take the positions of learners and at the same time observe the teaching mate in different respects. Following the lecture the lecturer will give a self-evaluation. Afterwards the group discusses different aspects of the lesson.

In the final phase of their training, students have to apply and test, in a school context, the insights, abilities and skills they have acquired. They spend 3-5 weeks in an educational institution, during which time they observe 20 lessons and teach 30 lessons independently.

Students apply the insights, abilities and skills they have acquired within the context of an educational institution. They observe 10 lessons and teach 20 lessons independently. Two of them are as assessed as Examination Lessons.

This is a supplement to the Teaching Internship required to obtain a Master of Advanced Studies in Secondary and Higher Education in the corresponding subject. It is aimed at enlarging the already acquired teaching experience. Students observe 10 lessons and teach 15 lessons independently.
