This course further builds on knowledge and skills acquired in the compulsory course on Process & Project Management. Students apply project management tools in a very practical manner and develop basic skills for running projects successfully. They produce typical project management deliverables by using a representative industry example on drug development.

The course provides an overview of Project Management and its relevance in the pharmaceutical industry including strategic planning, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement through methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
