The students gain knowledge on excipients, the preparation of simple dosage forms under consideration of basic quality assurance requirements, on quality control of medicaments and pharmacopoeial requirements. This enables them to analyse and understand simple galenical problems, to study them experimentally, and to evaluate and present the data in a scientific format.
This introductory class provides an overview of the basic scientific writing techniques and a guideline to presenting scientific data, together with guided exercises and hands-on training. It is devised to accompany the research projects within the curriculum of the MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
