We treat sensors, data acquisition and processing techniques of close-range photogrammetry. This includes image-based and range-based techniques. Focus is on sensor analysis, calibration and validation and on the components of the data processing chain, all applied to the generation of 3D textured surface and scene models. A small project will accompany us throughout the semester.
Photogrammetry II
Photogrammetrie II
This course covers advanced topics of aerial photogrammetry not treated in the basic course "Photogrammetrie".
Photogrammetry
Photogrammetrie
This class emphasizes the geometric, physical and instrumental basics of photogrammetry. The students get knowledge of the tools, methodologies and applications as well as understanding the basic systems and methods for image acquisition and processing. The operational handling of photogrammetric methods will be taught in sequent courses.
Photogrammetry and Machine Vision
Photogrammetrie und Machine Vision
This class recall the main concepts of close-range photogrammetry and range sensors. The students get more knowledge of statistical tests, adjustment procedure and measurements techniques. A project all along the semester is also carry out.
We focus on sensors, systems, processing methods and applications typically used for high accuracy image-based measurements, as e.g. in industrial quality control. We cover also motion tracking, as applied in biomechanics and animation. We aim at a deeper understanding of refined sensor and system modeling, estimation procedures, statistical testing. A project is carried through the semester.
This class deals with the processing of image sequences, as they are used in many applications nowadays.
