The Regulations relating to environmental protection, nature protection and spacial planning have to be coordinated. Characteristic difficulties will arise. It is shown, how integration of different legal aspects is managed in complex situations. This is discussed by using a number of cases as examples. Thereby we focus upon different forms of spatial planning and project-related planning.

This course teaches the possibilities and limits of the law in order to protect natural resources and landscapes against harm and nuisance. The complexity of the legal situation will be discussed by analysing virtual and real law cases focused on spatial projects and planning. Precise writing is an important aspect in this course.
