Practical work using selected measurement techniques in meteorology and hydrology. The course consists of field work with different measuring systems to determine turbulence, radiation, soil moisture, evapotranspiration, discharge and the atmospheric state as well as of data analysis.

One-week block course where students carry out experiments in compact groups. The climatological and hydrological subjects include the radiation budget, temperature and humidity measurements, microclimatology, precipitation and evaporation observation, ground humidity, runoff and turbulence measurements.
