Climatological and hydrological field work
Last Updated: 2026-02-05 15:19:27
Abstract
Practical field work using selected observational techniques in atmospheric, hydrological and climate sciences. The course consists of field work with several measuring systems, including turbulence (Eddy covariance), radiation budget, pilot balloon, CO2 exchange, evapotranspiration (lysimeter) and river discharge.
Objective
Demonstration of elementary concepts and provision of practical experience with meteorological and hydrological measuring systems
