This course covers advanced topics and technologies in computer networks, both theoretically and practically. It is offered each Fall. Repetition for credit is possible with the consent of the instructor.

Introduction to discrete event systems. We study popular models of discrete event systems, learn how to analyze them, as well as verify them. Topics include: Automata and Languages, Specification Models, Stochastic Discrete Event Systems (Markov Chains), Verification.

In this seminar, students review, present, and discuss recent research papers on computer networks.
