The lecture gives short surveys of the spatial planning on the national and European level, of environmental monitoring and controlling, of methods for the assessment of alternatives, and of techniques used in forecasting. The lecture deals more in detail with questions related to the interpretation and processing of information in planning. The students have to carry out different exercises.
