Measure and Integration
Mass und Integral
Introduction to abstract measure and integration theory, including the following topics: Caratheodory extension theorem, Lebesgue measure, convergence theorems, L^p-spaces, Radon-Nikodym theorem, product measures and Fubini's theorem, measures on topological spaces
Metric Geometry
Metrische Geometrie
Seminar on Metric Geometry, in particular metric spaces of non-positive curvature.
The concepts and computational techniques acquired in the context of QED and QCD (during the Phenomenology of Particle Physics I course) will be applied and expanded to the weak interaction and electroweak theory. Spontaneous symmetry breaking and the Higgs mechanism will also be introduced completing the description of the Standard Model of particle physics.
Seminar on selected topics in differential geometry.
This seminar treats selected topics in Riemannian Geometry, complementing the lecture course Differential Geometry II (Spring Semester 2025).
