Abstract

STE 2 is the same as STE 1, but represents the other half of the content, i.e. the second half of the core vocabulary and a different set of exercises on information transfer features of grammar. It can be taken before STE 1 with no problem.

Objective

To extend the student´s level of proficiency by (1) imparting a sizable general concept vocabulary that cuts across all fields of knowledge and (2) reviewing those distinctive features of grammar (syntax and morphology) that characterize information transfer. Numerous exercises are offered to achieve these goals.

Content

STE 2 is the same as STE 1, but represents the other half of the course content, i.e., the second half of the core vocabulary and a different set of exercises on information-transfer features of grammar. STE 2 can be taken before STE 1 (no logical sequence)!
