First Semester: The geometry of polyhedra, polyhedral sets. Groups of transformations as the basis for the continuity between space and object. Transformations of the plane and of space. Invariable objects and relationships. Symmetry. Second Semester: Discrete dynamic systems, chaos and fractals. Self-regulating organization and pattern formation. Mathematics as language.
