Understanding the innovation process and its design and management, with special emphasis on ist dependency on the developments of the global economic environment as well as its significance and its embedding in the enterprise on the strategic and operational level.

Product innovation (overview), innovation process; research on ideas, product definition; product and process design (simultaneous engineering with exercices), introduction on the market; project management, strategies for patents, culture, cooperations, quality management.
