Abstract
Music is an excellent subject for models and experiments in the humanities and the natural sciences. Refering to current projects, we demonstrate the integration of systematic musicology into the sciences. Apart from fundamentals on sound objects, we discuss a mathematical model of Fuxian counterpoint as well as its verification within the human depth EEG.

Es werden aktuelle Methoden und Resultate der systematischen Musikforschung im Überblick vorgestellt. Musik erweist sich dabei als exzellenter interdisziplinärer Gegenstand für Modellbildung und experimentelle Ansätze in Geistes- und Naturwissenschaften. Ziel der Vorlesung ist es, anhand realisierter und laufender Projekte Perspektiven der Integration systematischer Musikforschung ins Umfeld der exakten Wissenschaften aufzuzeigen. Thematisiert wird insbesondere neben den grundlegenden Beschreibungen von Klangobjekten ein mathematisches Modell des klassischen Fuxschen Kontrapunktes sowie seine hirnphysiologische Verifikation im Tiefen-EEG am Menschen.
