Objective

Becoming acquainted with fundamentals of thermal sciences and basic thermodynamic cycles and their linkage to energy conversion technologies and system aspects.

Content

Thermodynamics I (first and second law, gas equations, quality of energy), II (chemical thermodynamics, combustion processes), III (thermodynamic cycles, heat transfer mechanisms, etc.); Technical applications (including low emission technologies, combined cycles, nuclear power); Electrochemistry; Features of integrated supply systems.
