Abstract
On the basis of practical examples journalistic forms and search methods are presented. In the beginning of each week topic proposals are expected, which could appear as a news article, interview, report or feature in the science section of a weekly newspaper.
Objective
The participants should be trained by active participation in the production process of a science editorial department and enabled to write own articles which are adressed to the interested layman.
Content
Journalistic and technical skills are discussed in an one-week introduction meeting. Further Information exchange is made by email and telephone. Performance and success will be discussed in an one-week conclusion meeting. Both meetings take place at the Collegium Helveticum, Schmelzbergstrasse 25 ( www.collegium.ethz.ch ).
