Algebraic Groups

Abstract

The study of algebraic groups is on the borders of algebraic geometry and groups theory. In this course, we will restrict our study to linear algebraic groups. Despite this, the course will include some basics on algebraic geometry in a general context. Next, our aim is to investigate the structure of linear algebraic groups (discussing on solvable/unipotent/Borel subgroups, tori, etc.).
