Abstract
In the master program, the integration of architectural theory into the design process is offered as an individual achievement. On the basis of an intensive individual reading of theoretical texts the conventions of architectural practice shall be critically debated in a written paper. The theoretical perspective will be discussed in the midterm and/or final design studio criticism.
Objective
The goal is a critical debate on the conventions of architectural practice with regard to a defined subject, the insights of which shall inform the design process. In addition to the integrated design an exposition of at least ten pages (ca. 20.000 characters) must be handed in as an independent achievement.
