Abstract

Themes of the course are:• Methods of Moderations - which methods to use in which situation?• Activities and role of the moderator - behaviour in critical situtations• How to deal with critical (workshop) participants• How to plan a Workshop: preparation, conducton, postprocessing and documentation•Group dynamik - how to use and what to consider?

Objective

Participants learn about the objectives of moderation, the role of the moderator. Further, they have practiced once as a moderator douring the course of the seminar. Moreover, they know the following methods of moderation: 1: Method scenarios to use in small groups for the prupose of structuring typical promlems of a workshop 2: Formulation of problems as a start of solving problems 3: Groupendynamik with the method of silent-written-discussion 4: Overview of moderation methods and group work: In which situations is the use of which method proper?

Content

Participants of the course will form a significant part of the course day. Hence, teams of 3 - 4 people each will be formed. Each team will get an assignment, which wil lhave to be prepared for the course day.
