Abstract

In collaboration with the Department of Architecture of the University of Sardinia, the course offers to work on a large-scale project in Cagliari, involving both landscape and urban design. The brief will be to reflect on the site’s potential, exploring possible new uses for it and defining new edge conditions, so as to come up with a viable proposal.

Objective

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with landscape design and the problematic of large-scale topographical interventions. Emphasis in the studio is also given to the development of new visions of landscape where students are to define landscape typologies both spatially and in terms of programmatic use.
