Abstract

The sedimentological field course II is complementary to field course I. It is taught each second year. The course provides insight into field analysis of sedimentary rocks. The field days offer the opportunity to take high-resolution stratigraphic sections.

Objective

The student will be preapred to do his own sedimentological and lithostratigraphic investigations in the field. He/she will be familiar with common field techniques and he/she will recognize main sedimentological structures in the field.
