Abstract
Forum Livestock is a platform for the critical dealing with highly relevant issues in animal production from basic knowledge to acceptance in society.
Objective
In "Forum Livestock" a topic of high significance for animal production is concidered from diverse aspects (from scientific, production and environmental aspects to the acceptance by society). Topics of the last years were: GMO, BSE, bird flu. Students learn how to present a subject to an audiance and to defend it in discussion.
Content
Forum Livestock will be devided into 7 units of two hours. Students are the speakers and chair persons. Students and lecturers are the audience for a lively discussion.
