Abstract

A conceptual introduction to theoretical physics: Newtonian mechanics, central force problem, oscillations, Lagrangian mechanics, symmetries and conservation laws, spinning top, relativistic space-time structure, particles in an electromagnetic field, Hamiltonian mechanics, canonical transformations, integrable systems, Hamilton-Jacobi equation.

Formelsammlung: ein handgeschriebenes, beidseitig beschriebenes A4-Blatt.
Wer die schriftliche Prüfung nicht besteht, hat die Möglichkeit, noch in derselben Prüfungssession eine 20-minütige mündliche Prüfung zu absolvieren (gilt nicht als Repetition der Prüfung). Durch eine mündliche Prüfung kann die Note auf maximal 4 verbessert werden.
