Abstract
Elementary introduction to the Japanese language. Students acquire a basic vocabulary of about 1000 words together with the most frequently used sentence structures, as well as the Hiragana and Katakana syllabaries and 100 Kanji. Reading and writing training includes use of the computer for Japanese text editing.
Objective
Everyday conversation / Reading simple texts in Sino-Japanese Script / Writing Japanese texts on the computer / Writing simple texts about everyday topics in Sino-Japanese script on the computer
