Abstract
The teaching of the basic know-how concerning the building laws that apply to a building project, from the viewpoint of city and national planning o.cials, environmental and common law, as well as, the way that the decision process can be expedited.

The teaching of the basic know-how concerning the building laws that apply to a building project, from the viewpoint of city and national planning o.cials, environmental and common law, as well as, the way that the decision process can be expedited.
Content
The relationship that exists between laws governing building permission and planning laws (mainly property guarantees) are presented. Building permits and the conditions that must be met to obtain a permit are dealt with. These include: projected usage, accessibility, any changes to the land use, changes due to construction, especially changes to the environment (i.e. water, natural habitat, and energy use regulations). The process of obtaining a permit is described (i.e. how to present a case).
