Abstract
Content: This lecture has 3 parts: 1 a historical part on Aristotle, I. Kant and J.St. Mill; 2 a part on the main conceptions of mathematics: logicism, formalism, intuitionism; 3 a couple of topics chosen from the contemporary discussion such as: the debate about the existence of numbers, structuralism, or foundational schemes of mathematics.
