Abstract
This course will give a detailed overview about the 802 standards and summarizes the state of the art of WLANs, WPANs, and WMANs, including new topics sucha mesh networks. The course combines lectures with a set of assignments in which students are asked to work with a simple JAVA simulation/emulation tool to run experiments on 802 wireless networks, and develop their own algorithms.
