Abstract

This course gives an insight into clinical studies taking into account all different aspects like bioanalytics, biostatistics, ethical consideration and phase transition.

Objective

The students know how clinical studies are planned, organized and accomplished.

Content

a) Students understand biostatistics in relation to clinical studies b) Students know bioanalytical methods and their application in the process of clinical studies. c) Students now how phase transitions are performed d) Students know how clinical studies are planned and accomplished from a clinical and industrial point of view e) Students know the ethical regulations concerning clinical studies.
