Abstract
Outlining the political features of Switzerland the reading portrays the spatial structures of the economy, demographic changes, regional policy, the spatial impacts of traffic and communication and issues of spatial planning and environemental development. This offers an approach to today's spatial problems and reflections with regard to a sustainable spatial development in Switzerland.
Objective
Allgemeinbildende regionalgeographische Vorlesung.
Content
Problemorientierte Vermittlung von Fakten und Zusammenhängen zur Schweiz. Im Zentrum steht die Schweiz als Lebensraum. Untersucht werden die Folgen menschlicher Handlungen für die Raumstrukturen und die Landschaft der Schweiz und deren Rückwirkungen auf menschliche Tätigkeiten.
