Objective

The goal of this lecture is to become familiarized with specific research questions in biomechanics in a an area of relevance, to summarize the information, and to present an overview within a given time frame.

Content

Biomechanics IV is structured into three parts which all have to do with up-to-date information on research in biomechanics. The lecture is a continuation of Biomechanics I-III. (a) Part I: Presentation of current industry relevant research by guest lecturers. (b) Part II: Presentation of ongoing research at the Laboratory for Biomechanics at the ETH Zürich. (c) Part III: Guided introduction and familiarization in an up-to-date area of research, concentration on one to two research questions, focus on the relevant literature.
