The exam is made of two parts: A theoretical exam and a field course. A failed field course can only be repeated after another participation of the course in the following year.

This unit consists of two parts: a series of lectures with exercises in the first half of the FS and a 4-day practical structural mapping course, which will take place in the HS (2-5.10.2008). The final note is the average of the written theory exam (11.4.2008) and the note for the structural map and report.
