Abstract

The students are introduced in technical problems, solutions and methods of microsystem technologies and MEMS, based on examples from industry. They learn about the importance of appropriate management methods for the success of an innovative product.

The students are introduced in technical problems, solutions and methods of microsystem technologies and MEMS, based on examples from industry. They learn about the importance of appropriate management methods for the success of an innovative product.

Content

Based on industry examples the well-balanced combination of technology innovation (devices, process technologies, algorithms), management (project-, innovation and knowledge management) and engineering tools (problem solving techniques, decision analysis) is presented as a success factor for innovative microsystem products.
