Abstract

This course gives a first introduction to Physics. During the Autumn term (Physics I) emphasis is given to classical mechanics, up to Newton's theory of gravitation, with a short introduction to Special Relativity. During the Spring term (Physics II) topics such as oscillations, waves and Thermodynamics are discussed.

Objective

Basic knowledge of classical mechanics.
