Computational Quantum Physics
Last Updated: 2026-02-05 15:29:36
Abstract
This course covers to computer simulation methods for quantum problems. After discussing the one-body problem we cover the quantum many-body problem. Topics covered are approximate methods (Hartree-Fock and density functional theory) as well as exact methods such as exact diagonalization and quantum Monte Carlo methods. Applications are chose from condensed matter physics and quantum field theory.
