Abstract

The course starts with an introduction to data analysis and an overview of different methods: Windowed Fourier Transform, Wavelet Transform, Nonlinear Techniques. After this introductory part of the course, the focus will be laid on data analysis using modern state-space techniques. The Kalman recursions are derived and discussed in examples from spectroscopy and biomedical applications.
