Abstract
Theoretical and practical knowledge to plan, perform and evaluate dietary assessment studies. Evaluation and application of food composition databases and nutrient software.
Objective
To introduce the students to different dietary assessment methods.
Content
Theoretical and practical knowledge of dietary assessment methods. Evaluation of national and international food composition data bases. Assessment of own nutrient intake using different methods. Planning and performing of a dietary assessment study as a project. Evaluation of dietary assessments using a nutrient software and statistical analysis.
