Abstract

The course teaches the influences of nutrition and dietary patterns on the most common chronic diseases of the industrialized countries.

Objective

To have the student gain understanding of the links between the diet and the etiology and progression of chronic diseases, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, arthritis and food allergies.
