Abstract
The training aim is the successful execution of a project beginning with the analysis of the problem and creation of a workplan, and ending with a report of the work performed.
Objective
The training aim is the successful execution of a project beginning with the analysis of the problem and creation of a workplan, and ending with a report of the work performed. The project should provide the student with insight into topics of high-voltage technology in connection with computer technology.
Content
"EDV" (computer-oriented) projects search to find solutions using computer applications to current problem definitions in research and teaching areas of the High Voltage Laboratory. In accordance with the specifically defined problem, new code is written or existing software, such as a FEM package, is applied. The student is advised in the task by an assistent of the HVL, but the work should principally be carried out independently. The time invested in the project is allotted to be approximately 120 hours.
