Abstract

The subject of the course Anthroposphere is the analysis of interactions within human-environment-systems. The topic of the practical course Anthroposphere is finding synergies between making urban spaces more compact and introducing options of renewable energy production. As model regions serves the City of Zurich.

Objective

In the practical course Anthroposphere students learn how to analyse the interactions in human-environment-systems with scientific tools. Methods of natural sciences and social sciences are applied and associated. Understanding the system, the scientific strategies to produce findings, their application and harmonization is the aim of the course.

Content

Anthroposphere comprises the science of human-environment-systems. Scientific features are the structure, dynamics and quality of the interaction of humans with their environment, the definition of regulatory layers and systems as well as the development of models of regulatory processes.
