Abstract

Road infrastucture maintenance management; performance, planning and evalua-tion of maintanance measures, optimisation.Noise and pollution modelling and estimation of roads, comparison with standards, evaluation of measures.

Objective

Knowledge of methodes and pavement managemet systems to evaluate economic maintenance measures for road instructures: Methodes of Surface performance, estimation of performance development, standard measures, strategies, methodes of optimizing economic measures. longterm planning of maintenace measures. Knowledge of noise and pollution dispersion modelling on roads, comparison with standards, evaluation of measures to reduce traffic noise.

Pavement Management Systems. Dispersion modeling of noise and Airpollution in the Roadenvironment (STL86 and EMPA 97, Gaussianmodells), Estimation of Noise and Airpollution, Exercices with Softwaretools, Planning of Measures to reduce Noise.
