Abstract
This course will be based on the course Satellitenfernerkundung given in the 5th semester. It will treat in greater depth selected topics of this first course like geocoding, classification and radar data processing, including practical exrecises with a public-domain remote sensing sofware package, and some additional new topics.
Objective
This course will be based on the course Satellitenfernerkundung given in the 5th semester. It will treat in greater depth selected topics of this first course like geocoding, classification and radar data processing, including practical exrecises with a public-domain remote sensing sofware package. Additionally, it will cover some new topics, like meteorological satellites and application fields of remote sensing. The aim of the course is to give more in-depth knowledge on selected important topics of satellite sensing, while also permitting practical work with such data.
