Introduction into the structure, biosynthesis, function, evolutionary ecology, biotechnology, use and history of selected products of plant secondary metabolism (carbohydrates, lignin, flavonoids, phenolic compounds, terpenoids, alkaloids, cyanogenic glycosides, glucosinolates, etc.).
