New insights in the evolution of vertebrates from fossils and phylogenetic studies; comparisions of selected morphological and ecological specialisations within vertebrates; radiation and parallel evolution. Morphology and systematics of selected groups of flowering plants; speciation; specialisations within phanerogams; convergence, divergence, selection; eco-morphology.
