Abstract

Transfer of detailled knowledge of construction processes and methods of Special Underground and Deep Foundation Construction Methods as well as core competences of Drill, Support, Grouting and Seperation Techniques. Pros and cons as well as technical and economical aspects of the different construction methods will be discussed.

Objective

Advanced technological knowledge of Special Underground and Deep Foundation Construction Methods. Medhodical judgement and decision making of project specific application of the special construction methods as well as technical and economical aspects. Process oriented project specific planning of production processes.

Content

The course includes: - Methods of ground investigation - Pipe jacking / Micro tunnelling - Deep foundations / Diaphragma walls / MIP - Anchors - Cut and cover tunnels - Caissons - Soil improvements - Soil injection technology
