Abstract

The company as an open, dynamic system; its structure and processes as well as its functioning and impacts. The focus is on the foundation, the organization, the planning, the controlling and the management of a company. Complementary topics are human resource and knowledge management as well as development strategies.

Objective

• Enthusiasm for entrepreneurial thinking and acting • Knowledge of the goals, functions, structure and processes of a company • Basic skills in planning and management of a company’s development.

• The company as a system • Establishing a company (process, product, marketing, legal form, financial planning) • Business plan • Corporate organization (functions, structure and processes) • Corporate planning (normative, strategic and operative level) • Corporate controlling (management systems, performance indicators, balanced scorecard) • Human resource management • Knowledge management • Corporate development.
