Abstract
The lectures will cover different methodologies applied in the field of nutrition research.
Objective
To get an overview of research methodologies used in the field of nutrition and to become more familiar with some of the most important methods.
Content
The methodologies include stable isotope techniques, immunochemical techniques, animal studies and food sensory science. The challenge of ethical issues in human studies will be illustrated and discussed. An excursion to a clinical chemistry laboratory will facilitate the understanding of the theoretical background presented in the lectures.
