Abstract
Nutrition in Sports discusses the diet induced ergogenic and ergolytic influences on sports performance.
Objective
The aim of this course is to learn how sports performance can be influenced by diet.
Content
Nutrition in Sports discusses the diet induced ergogenic and ergolytic influences on sports performance. The general concepts by which diet influences sports performance will be developed by the discussion of original scientific literature. Basics in biochemistry (equivalent to universitary basic course) and nutrition physiology (equivalent to Human Nutrition I course at ETH) are taken for granted.
