Dynamische Positionierung

Lecturers & Examiners: Prof. em. Dr. Alain Geiger

Last Updated: 2026-02-05 15:13:40

Abstract

This course combines the knowledge on parameter estimation, mechanics, geodetic engineering, and navigation. Geodetic methods of positioning will be generalised in order to yield methods allowing the positioning of moving targets and moving measurement platforms. Applications are found in navigation, robotics, deformation monitoring or in measurement vehicle technology

Objective

The students know the principles of dynamic positioning and are able to analyse and develop algorithmic solutions for problems in the domain of positioning.

Content

Kinematics, coordinatesystems, combined movements, rotation, attitude, measurements from moving platforms, differential equations, trajectography, dynamic systems, non-linear systems, asynchronous observations, vehicle dynamics, dynamics of measurement systems
